Following her studies at the Beaux-Arts in Paris (Atelier Michel François), Tianjin (China) and Brussels at La Cambre, Mali Arun explores the moving image. Her work is situated between fiction, documentary film and video art that questions spaces on the margins, in metamorphosis and in conflict. She questions the way in which uprooted man surveys zones of passage and borders, transforming space and landscape into territory by appropriating it. She also explores the beliefs, rituals and myths that people use to live and survive.
