Bertrand Dezoteux
Born in 1982, Bertrand Dezoteux, trained at the Fresnoy – National Studio of Contemporary Arts, develops his artistic practice around new audiovisual forms. Producing experimental films at the border of documentary, fiction and science fiction, he is inspired by 3D modeling software to create hybrid visual objects that escape any classification. Bertrand Dezoteux regularly presents his work in France (Festival du film court de Clermont- Ferrand, FID Marseille, Palais de Tokyo, Centre Pompidou) and internationally (Astrup Fearnley Museet, Frieze London, Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival). In 2015, he received the Audi talents award for the project “Waiting for Mars”, carried out in collaboration with the CNES (the French Space Agency). In 2020, the artist will exhibit at the Musée d’Orsay, Frac Île-de-France.
