EXPOSITION – THE VOYAGE OUT

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Voyage Out<\/em> se d\u00e9veloppe autour de deux \u00e9v\u00e8nements qui se sont produits au Japon : d\u2019une part, la catastrophe nucl\u00e9aire de Fukushima, survenue en mars 2011 \u00e0 la suite du tsunami qui ravagea la r\u00e9gion de T\u00f4hoku ; d\u2019autre part, l\u2019\u00e9ruption volcanique en novembre 2013 dans l\u2019archipel d\u2019Ogasawara qui a cr\u00e9\u00e9 un nouvel \u00eelot au large de Nishino-shima avant de s\u2019agglom\u00e9rer \u00e0 cette \u00eele principale. \u00c0 travers la mise en parall\u00e8le de ces ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes, le projet d\u2019Ana Vaz interroge notre \u00e9poque de l\u2019Anthropoc\u00e8ne en t\u00e9lescopant documentaire et fiction, temps g\u00e9ologique et extr\u00eame contemporan\u00e9it\u00e9, po\u00e9tique anthropologique et critique de la modernit\u00e9 industrielle.\n\n\u00c0 la suite d\u2019une p\u00e9riode d\u2019investigation sur place au mois de juin 2018, l\u2019exposition \u00e0 la Casa Conti \u2013 Ange Leccia \u00e0 Oletta du 17 juillet au 30 septembre souhaite pr\u00e9senter un format exp\u00e9rimental associant diff\u00e9rentes pratiques (films, performances, installations), telle la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape d\u2019un dispositif narratif qui se d\u00e9ploiera ensuite au LUX moving images \u00e0 Londres, \u00e0 l\u2019espace Khiasma aux Lilas (qui l\u2019a accueilli en r\u00e9sidence en 2017), et au Confort Moderne \u00e0 Poitier. Produit par Spectre productions avec l\u2019aide du CNAP, du Dispositif pour la Cr\u00e9ation Artistique multim\u00e9dia et Num\u00e9rique (DICR\u00e9AM) du CNC et de TBA21 \u2013 Academy, l\u2019\u0153uvre d\u2019Ana Vaz explore les conditions actuelles de la fiction comme alternative au d\u00e9sastre et affirmation des possibles.
